I'd like to have this game act as a fan spinoff of Hexen. I have implemented another cutscene and even dialogue that expands the lore of the world as well to go for a story with more narrative elements. All of them are from Realm667, with one music track being taken from, so hopefully you might see some familiar faces depending on how much wads you've played. I have added in customs assets using SLADE and plan on making each level feel distinct as a result of it. I'd like to see how players take to this mechanic. However, in the usual gacha way the prize is randomly generated. What this means is there are tokens in the game that you exchange for artifacts, weapons etc. For those who are interested, this game has a gacha system. I plan on finishing the 3 maps to close off the level and then I will begin the new level cluster that will continue to advance the story. The following screenshots show the Fire Cavern and as much as I would like to post the wad, alot of switches/puzzles etc. need to be done in the Ice Chapel to affect the Fire Cavern so that you can advance to the Boss area. I haven't started on the Ice Chapel yet though but it should be finished by the end of this month. The War Den, The Fire Cavern and the Forgotten Ice Chapel would be the the names of the maps. This is one of the 3 maps that comprise this level. It has been redone quite a bit from version 0.1. It turns out that it was fairly simple to implement this.
